My next attempt to a series...  Comments , suggestions welcome!

Darkness engulfing everywhere. Most of them in deep slumber... No sign of clouds in the night sky.A few stars glittering here and there. Suddenly a flash in the sky, followed by a thunder!

She comes running out from the gates of the Hotel Marriet.

"Taxi!" 

A cab pulls over to the curb. The figure hurries in and the cab disappears into darkness.

"Crescent Road.", she says.

Rukhsana gets up leisurely in the morning . She takes a sip of bed coffee lazily.

"News paper!" the paper boy screams and drops the paper at the door.

Rukshana gets up and fetches the paper. She sits on her sofa , taking a sip , she reads the headlines.

"LEADING BUSINESS MAN ASHITOUSH BANERJEE STABBED TO DEATH!" 

Gulping the coffee down to her throat, she hurries to freshen up and arrive at the spot.

The Commisioner of Police was being fired by a volley of questions by the press.

"Is it a family fued or a business rivalry?"Rukhsana asked. She was representing her own growing newspaper "The Times Talkies" She was also a budding detective, and was also eager to investigate this case.

"Could be anything!" The Comissioner of Police barked."He is a business magnet! has tonns of money! So we have a hercules task here of investigation. Thanks!"

He stormed out.
